[He isn't particularly ~sensitive~ about it, but he has long realized that people will ask him fewer questions, if he pretends to be just that. He doesn't mind the assumption either, just nodding – yes, he's feeling a little hungry and it would be rude just to get something for himself and leave his companion to fend for himself.

Well, I like the warmth of it for one... and I don't particular feel like eating raw fish either.
