Normally, only the in-game Network tanagura is hidden from the government's eyes. Private inbox messages are not secure, and individual characters who are not experienced hackers would have no way of preventing their messages from being traced, nor making private threads between two characters on the network.
This changes that.
With this software upgrade, every message your character sends through their palm reader can be secured, including voice mail, text, calls, and individual threads on the network -- regardless of your character's tech skill level!
But note that this does not allow anonymous posting or commenting on the network which only an experienced hacker would be able to accomplish and may require mod permission.
