El Nysa Timeline

September

• Mephisto awakens.
• In order to secure allies and the trust of people from home, Mephisto offers contracts of mutual benefit to Izumo, Shima, and Rin. The latter turns him down.
• Upon learning the truth about his power loss, he spends a few days sulking as a dog around Olympia.
• Moves into temporary housing with a bratty teenager and a sentient polygon, living as a dog.
• Meets Jae-ha again on the beach and they fuck.
• He's taken home by a teenage princess named Yona while in dog form.
• Hak and Jae-ha, Yona's over protective brother squad, learn that Mephisto is a demon and that he's lying to Yona about what he is. They decide he's ultimately harmless, but plan to keep an eye on him.
• Mephisto reveals his true form to Yona and crafts the identity of Faust, a mild-mannered magician who was cursed to turn into a dog by his evil older brother. In return for breaking his "curse", he offers to teach her magic.
• Searching for a way to possibly recover his powers, Mephisto takes up a job at the Simwe Institute, studying magic acquisition and giving lectures as a professor.
• Mephisto finds Shiro Fujimoto in one of the stasis pods and brings Rin to the station to see him.

October

• A terrorist attack in Olympia causes an outbreak of a mysterious illness. Yona falls ill and Mephisto stays by her side to take care of her.
• During a hunt for a man wanted in connection to the terrorist attacks, Mephisto is wounded and Jae-ha helps him. Mephisto reveals the broken-down state of his body to him, but doesn't explain what it is.
• Shima gets caught in the crossfire between two overzealous bounty hunters and summons Mephisto as per their contract, who takes a bullet to the head defending him.
• Following this, Mephisto seeks out Mipha and her healing powers, and is shocked when he finds she can easily heal his body, reversing the necrosis caused by it breaking down.
• Izumo returns to stasis. Mephisto feels strangely melancholy about it, though he can't place why.
• Yona's condition worsens, and Mephisto learns that Rin has fallen ill as well.
• In an effort to distract one another from current events, Jae-ha and Mephisto begin a friends with benefits relationship with a heavy bdsm slant.
• In order to clean the city of the virus responsible for the outbreak, all residents of Olympia are forced to evacuate to the neighboring city of Wyver, despite ongoing political tensions between the two powers.
• Amaimon disappears during the evacuation. Mephisto worries he might have fallen ill and died without knowing he was sick, but can't bring himself to confirm it.
• Mephisto is forced to take care of Rin while he's sick and unable to control his flames.
• A cure is found thanks to joint efforts by the city and everyone recovers quickly.

November

• Wyver celebrates the Moon festival during the full moon.
• Mephisto and Yona go on an excursion into the Undergrowth and are attacked by a beast that forces Mephisto to confront all his budding existential angst. After a brief reprieve, a misunderstanding causes Mephisto to once more break down thanks to the beast's toxins, before leaving her alone.
• During the festival, Jae-ha and Mephisto are chosen by a shaman to complete a pact of Volkkra, in which they pledge to always support one another. Thanks to the pact, Jae-ha receives a small portion of Mephisto's telekinetic abilities, and Mephisto receives a small portion of Jae-ha's dragon blood, as well as his human "heart", causing strange but very brief mood swings. Also, they're kinda married.
• Mephisto receives the gift of anime from Shima, but makes an ass of himself and they have a fight.
• A newly emotional Mephisto asks Mipha for her help in healing Lucifer should he awaken, to which she agrees. Then they fuck.
• Mephisto reaches out to Yona to apologize for freaking out on her earlier, under the guise of showing her his familiars in Thesa station. When they meet, the dragon blood he received from Jae-ha activates, instilling him with strong feelings of loyalty and affection towards Yona, who bears the blood of the red dragon.
• Mephisto confronts Jae-ha about his "curse" but ultimately decides not to break the pact regardless. He confides in Jae-ha about his own feelings of loss with regards to his powers and identity as the King of Time.
• Acknowledging that he shouldn't leave his true allies in the dark, Mephisto opens up to Shima about what he's been going through as an explanation for his behaviour. Shima is mostly shocked about the whole marriage thing.
• Mephisto is subjected to Yona and Slaine making out while he's sleeping in the same room as a dog. He has his revenge when she walks in on him and Jae-ha fucking, even if she never sees that it's Mephisto.
• Shura wakes up, and of course things go poorly, causing them to have a stupid drunk fight right off the bat.
• The Natha have refugees pilot ships back to El Nysa to practice for future space missions. It takes two days for them to travel back to Wyver once they land.
• Allen uses his powers against Mephisto after the latter took his teasing too far. But the holy magic in his weaponry proves to be much more effective than expected, and Mephisto is seriously hurt. Allen feels guilty about it, having not known that Mephisto was a demon.

December

• Tensions between the two cities are on the rise, as Olympians gradually begin to return home.
• Mipha and Mephisto "meet" each other's still-sleeping family on Thesa station. Mephisto learns of Mipha's fate back home.
• Jae-ha falls ill and Mephisto takes care of him throughout the month. During this time, he begins to realize his feelings towards him have been deepening, but decides not to hold himself back, out of curiosity for where these feelings might lead.
• The two cities hold a joint Winter Gala in honor of their brief truce.
• Mephisto grossly flirts with everyone under the mistletoe, including Shura. He got punched for it, but it was worth it.
• Mephisto officially returns to Olympia and his former place of employment, the Simwe Institute.

January

• Shima returns to stasis. Mephisto is more caught of guard by it than he'd like to admit.
• An encounter with a flock of amnesia-causing minnu causes Mephisto to wander around in a stupor for a few days before being "saved" by Shura.
• Jae-ha returns to stasis. Mephisto wonders if this is what heartbreak feels like. But without the pact, he no longer has the human heart that helped him process these feelings.
